When Do Crews Meet?
Crews at Love Lake Norman (Small Groups) run from the end of September to the beginning of December, take a holiday break, then start back in February and run until the end of May. The number of people in a group is normally between 6 and 12. Groups usually meet at the home of a host who has volunteered, but some crews choose to meet in coffee shops or other locations.
What's Studied?
Most crews spend time going deeper into the previous Sunday message. Discussion of pre-written questions and Scripture related to the teaching is facilitated by the crew leader. At times the crew may study a book or video series. Time is set aside at the end of each meeting for praying for each other's physical or spiritual needs and those of friends and relatives.
Building Relationships
Crews are available for couples and singles together, men only, and women only. Each group schedules a social outing from time to time: a fun activity or an opportunity to serve the community or church in some way. Crews can help you develop close friendships as you share your lives and encourage each other.
