the bible
The Holy Spirit inspired human authors to write the words of Scripture. The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is therefore without error. It is the final authority on all matters on which it bears. The Bible is the sole basis of our belief. It can be trusted for all matters in this life and eternity.
god
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each possessing all the attributes of God. The Bible is the only trustworthy source for understanding Him. Scripture teaches that God created everything we can see – and even everything we cannot see – out of nothing. Humans are the pinnacle of God’s creation, and he loved us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to reveal Himself to mankind and become the Savior of the lost world.

jesus
Jesus Christ is God’s Son and equal of the Father. He has existed from the beginning of time, yet lived a sinless life on earth, in which he was completely God and completely human at the same time. He voluntarily offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for every human being who has ever lived by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive God’s grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to reign as King and consummate history.
mankind
God created humans in the image of God to have fellowship with Him and gave them the moral ability to choose right from wrong. However, they became alienated from that relationship with God through an attitude of disobedience (called sin in the Bible). As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him and come back into a right relationship with God. Man is totally incapable of entering back into this relationship by human effort.
salvation
Our attitude of disobedience has eternally separated us from our Creator. No matter how hard we try, we can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Jesus Christ is God’s provision for our disobedience. We believe that Jesus’ death on the cross and his defeat of death and sin through his resurrection provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the person of Jesus Christ, including his death and resurrection, as the sufficient payment for his sin.
christian life
The Holy Spirit equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. Every Christ-follower should strive to live for Christ and not himself. Through obedience to God’s Word and yielding daily to the Spirit, God changes our heart. This happens so that both our character and our actions will be changed. God’s promise is that when we reach heaven, He will complete the process of making every believer conformed to the image of Christ.
the church
The Church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The New Testament tells us that the church is a local body made up of those who have trusted by faith the person and work of Christ and have been baptized. The church exists to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to a lost and dying world. It is to serve people in the same manner Jesus did.
